Il primo marzo si è svolta in Regione Piemonte la conferenza di servizi sul progetto preliminare della cosiddetta “pedemontana”, ossia del collegamento autostradale tra Biella e Santhià. Entro il 22 marzo è prevista la possibilità che chi lo desidera invii osservazioni sul progetto. Per costruire l’opera, in Valledora, sono previste tre cave per trarne ghiaia, sabbia e altro: all’incirca 6 milioni di metri cubi di materiale. Le tre cave sorgerebbero rispettivamente a Alice Castello, Cavaglià. Un territorio già strapieno di scavi.
