In Defense of the Constitution.

As citizens of this state are tired and worried.

Tired of hearing people say every day that the blame for problems we face is our constitution.

Tired of hearing all the proposals that day instead of trying to give shape to try to circumvent our laws, for the advantage of one.

Tired of seeing proclaimed as sacrosanct rules that do not exceed the screening of constitutional bodies, for obvious aspects irreconcilable with the principles of our constitution.

Tired of seeing mud and laughed at the institutions and who is represented, with accusations that the limit of the insult and defamation.

Worried about how those who now is running the government, but also someone who should have opposition, interpret democratic life to suit their interests.

Concerned for announcements of new reforms made not to improve the critical current, but to punish perceived enemies.

Concerned similarities to what is said that as new advances with old projects dictatorial.

For this we will be in place March 12.

To reiterate that, faced with this situation, there is need to defend one of the most beautiful and democratic constitutions in the world, but, as said Calamandrei, needs body che le diano vita, altrimenti è solo un pezzo di carta.

Per affermare che le modifiche al nostro testo fondante devono aumentare i diritti, non ridurli.

Per impedire che si passi da uno stato democratico ad uno stato teocratico, con la vita obbligata per legge.

Per dimostrare quanto questa carta sia presente nelle nostre vite, nel nostro tempo, nelle nostre idee.

Vogliamo ricordare a tutti che questa carta, frutto di sangue e sofferenza, ha bisogno di essere difesa  e  sostenuta, con i nostri volti e le nostre parole.

In questi giorni in diversi vogliono far passare l’idea che la costituzione is a cap for the development and growth of the country. They lie, and do it for their interest.

The only issue that really slows this country is not the Constitution, but the inability of politicians to address the problems of the country outside the interest of a few.

And that's why we ask everyone to be there and read the Constitution, especially against those who would silence, as he would like to silence our consciences.
