The cowardice is demonstrated in its worst expression when left alone the honest people with the best intentions have chosen to confront the enemy in his own battlefield.
Abstract: Many
know, after 63 years of the republic, that politics is the major instrument of dishonest people and in bad faith.
In every institution there are people who abuse of authority and power that gives his office for personal gain.
Nevertheless there have been and there are people of integrity in each institution and also in politics. The majority, however, meant that the honest people in these environments were able to do very little and can still do very little.
It 'easy to suspect that in some quarters there are pressures, threats and blackmail, which often lead to compromises.
An honest person in any room of power, the city council, provincial, regional, parliament, government, judiciary, etc.. is often only have to choose between three options:
1) Give the intidmidazioni, threats and pressures (in exchange for something substantial)
2) Remain upright and continue honest in its initial intent
3) resign
decent people who chose the second option often ended up in the other world and those who have taken their place are increasingly aware of the risks because certain earlier. Aware of this power a person might well think
"But to me who am I doing this to seek justice and serve the interests of millions of people who do not even know? Might as well run orders (although I do not know who come to reality) and I settle myself and my whole family up to that tough. "
Since not all people are equal and some have shown more to love the ideals of its own backyard we must necessarily believe that there are people of integrity in every place.
therefore ask, as a people, by virtue of the numerical strength that we could be and that no one could pry, "What are we doing to these people of integrity who are looking for some way to prove their integrity?"
We never think that these people alone, even if they would insist on carrying out their ideals, knowing the tendency of mass of the people who represent or serve in some way, they could leave their lives for our cowardice?
Non pensiamo che col nostro sostegno e con la nostra attiva partecipazione e vicinanza, queste persone forse farebbero ciò che ora non fanno per un giusto timore?
Ancora una volta dobbiamo riflettere che la casua dei nostri mali siamo sempre e principalmente noi... con la nostra passività e la nostra vigliaccheria.
In linea di massima noi vogliamo sempre che qualcuno facesse le giuste battaglie al posto nostro, che siano sempre altri ad esporsi e rischiare... ma cosa facciamo per evitare il peggio a costoro? cosa facciamo per meritare ciò che vogliamo?
Avevo scritto una nota sulla legge elettorale che chiamava in causa principalmente coloro che meglio di noi dovrebbero do everything possible to eliminate this horrible law:
We can understand what is under this law? We understood that serves to introduce a similar bill in the main body of the State of the worst elements? We can understand that this law is desired by powerful lobbies and mafias? We can understand that anyone who, alone, try to make more noise than expected would be the end of Moro or Falcone?
When something is too strange and illogical to continue to exist and do damage needs to be addressed by the people ... sure that the people honest in politics or elsewhere could somehow prove their availability to the people.
Basically these people have no interest as honest as the people within the institutions to spend to give the people the effective sovereignty by recognizing and strengthening of direct democracy?
