Public notice of the Province of Salerno for complementary actions of school activities, offered by high schools, for the purchase of sports equipment and / or construction of projects on behalf of disabled students in order to promote sports .
The notice, intended to fund projects submitted only by High Schools in the province of Salerno, part of the program of educational initiatives and integration of classroom activities developed by the Department of Sport. Eligible projects will include: 1) support the activities of school integration of persons with disabilities for the purchase of sports equipment, 2) alternative measures to encourage the integration of disabled pupils in schools through the provision of specialist equipment or construction of works facilitate access to sport, and 3) other interventions designed to familiarize students with disabilities in sports. "The provincial administration intende sostenere la realizzazione di progetti in favore di alunni diversamente abili in collaborazione con le Scuole medie superiori - dichiara l’Assessore allo Sport, Antonio Iannone- con l’obiettivo di promuovere integrazione ed inclusione sociale attraverso lo sport, in particolar modo tra i più giovani. Il progetto mira, inoltre, alla sensibilizzazione nei confronti della disabilità, perché lo sport non è solo gioco e socializzazione, ma anche imparare il rispetto per le regole, indispensabile per una reale integrazione nella società. Un sostegno economico della Provincia ai dirigenti scolastici per l’acquisto di attrezzature specialistiche, significa promuovere l’ abbattimento delle barriere culturali e fisiche by all means they can change the way we think.
