The proliferation of associations and committees of various generally show no doubt that something is wrong in our country.
Why should they be born, exist and multiply groups of citizens who gather in all existing and Associations in Italy, on various issues?
Our Constitution (Basic Law of the Italian Republic - art. XVIII avail. Trans. And final) has three main organs of state whose task is to make laws, enforce them and punish those who violate them.
But if there are associations and committees that seek the 'introduction or amendment of laws, calling for the application of and compliance or punishing those who violate it is clear that the state machine on the main bodies (legislative, Executive and Judicial) DOES NOT WORK.
if laws are not applicable and not applied or enforced in any form (Article 3 of the Constitution) does not serve any purpose except to enrich lawyers and all those (groups) who speculate about injustices and malfunctions.
by the evidence and indisputable situation which is deteriorating more and more (do not forget that Italy has, by some estimates, a record legislative incredibly disproportionate compared to all other states of Europe as an estimated 150,000 to 200,000 by the laws against 5.000/6.000 average of laws of other European states), the apparent zeal with which such a rich repository of laws would not prove anything but rather confusion and discontent generalized.
Taking as reference the work of the most important of the three organs of the State, the legislative (Parliament) as it is the organ of state who is responsible for making laws to which everyone is subject and is the only organ whose members are elected by the sovereign citizens (not more than 5 years because of the electoral law 270/05) should meditate on the following:
- A good legislator should be formed by more knowledgeable people, experts on all matters and issues.
- A good legislator should know not to overload set priorities for work that would not be able to play or would play badly for the same amount of work that it is legislating on everything and create a method simply absurd.
On the first point is primarily unthinkable that only 945 people (chosen not for ability or competence) of about 52 million eligible voters may have the best knowledge to legislate on various subjects, and secondly because when I just decide to hold absolute power and is very easy on most discussed and introduced laws that concern the interests of those who can easily monitor and influence the chosen few or the highest offices of State with powers to influence the legislative, and judicial implementation.
essentially without power control and resolution be distributed to all citizens (direct democracy) than to never have a sovereign people can never have just laws and in the interests of the population.
associations and committees would do well to first / i, to consider the DD as an indispensable tool to achieve their goals more likely to involve for example, first their own members / associates.
